DRAFT MAIL TO MCI-5

To,
The Chairman,
Medical Council of India,
New Delhi.

Respected Sir,
Subject : NEET – UG Exam 2012.
With reference to above subject, we came to know that MCI is going to impose Common Entrance Test for admission in MBBS from May’2012. As a parent of a 12th std student I request you to notice following points.
It is too late to implement new course and syllabus in the mid of academic year, and it also on basis of 11th & 12th std curriculum, hence almost 1½ year studies completed.
It also announced that the exam will be in Hindi or English languages only. What about the student who studies in regional languages.
No text books or reference books outline in your proposed syllabus. Hence how will the student get prepared in their most crucial year of studies?
At every stage of ruler area no one either student or teachers are aware for the NEET-UG exams and also the teachers are not capable to teach students in such short period of time.
Hope MCI will find genuine way by not implementing NEET-UG for at least 2 years.
Thanking You,

(Parent of 12th Std Student)

Send Additional Mail to MCI

Dear friends,

Please send E-mail again to the MCI and give reference to your old mail... (date of your mail)
and add following points.

1)There is a act passed in Gujarat assembly in 2007 for Regulation of admission and fee structure of professional colleges. Under this act admission in Gujarat occurs through single window. The proposed NEET exam is against this law.

2)NEET exam will take care of admission to medical colleges only and students will have to appear for other entrance exam (GUJCET) also for admission in dental and other paramedical courses, so this will increase burden on the students.

1)Comparing the syllabus outlined in the MCI-NCERT drafrt with current syllabus of board exam One Will Find That Few Topics of Core syllabus have been covered since the academic year has already started the syllabus can not be implement this year.
2)12th is a very crured cial year.Students do preparations well in advance.Refrence text book material for core syllabus declared by NEET is not available in gujarati language. How The Student Will do preparations??
3)Other government like Maharashtra has not accepted NEET for current academic year 2011-2012.
4)For New syllabus teacher's training programme is not done. Then how school will help?
5)According to the dean of medical college,Civil Hospital,Ahmedabad,Gujarat New Syllabus is about 40% outside the current syllabus.
6)All students and parents are confused,as this is too late declaration.
7)The Syllabus of the state board and the syllabus of MCI-NCERT is quite different, how the student will cope up the both in this short time????
Concidering all above factors NEET will give lot if stress on 12th std students due to lack of time for preparations.
So NEET should not be implemented this year.

DRAFT MAIL TO MCI-3

Respected sir, As per the reports we have come to know that MCI is planning to conduct medical entrance test for all the aspiring candidates of medicine in india from 2012.
As a parent of a 12th standard student i request MCI to take following points into consideration before finalizing on the entrance test.
1.The syallabus which has put on MCI website considerably diffrent from the syallabus which our children studies with the gujarat board.
2.There is no proper guidance, study material or proper coaching is available to our children who are almost on the middle of there 12th standard.
3.On the one hand the whole education departments from centre to state are talking about stress free education and giving so less time to children for studing considerable diffrent syallabus will add to their stress and agony.
Please look into above points as a parent we have strong objection for implementing NEET in 2012 as the time for preparation is very short.
Thanks
-Heena Sheth

DRAFT MAIL TO MCI-2

To,
The Chairman,
Medical Council of India,
New Delhi.

Respected Sir,
Subject : NEET – UG Exam 2012.
With reference to above subject, MCI is going to start NEET-UG exam implemented from 2012 for the admission in MBBS. I as a parent of 12th std student request following points to be noticed.
Comparing the core syllabus outlined and released on 22nd July’2011 by MCI-NCERT with current syllabus of Gujarat Higher Secondary Education Board (G.H.S.E.B.) based on 11th & 12th std syllabus, one will find that only few topics of core syllabus have been covered and almost half academic year is completed so, NEET-UG exam should not be implemented this year.
As all we know, the 12th std is very crucial academic year and student do preparation since long back starting from 11th std to get prepared for admission in MBBS. As there is a vast difference in Board Syllabus and Core Syllabus of NEET-UG (MCI), student should get enough time for preparation. Looking at this, NEET-UG exam should not be implemented this year.
STUDENT : A child who studies each and every syllabus which their teachers teaches with enough time. Student never denied for any exams, but is it fare to them with so short period notice?
As the core syllabus released is very late, so not the teachers as well as student can match up for the NEET-UG exam 2012 in available short time & hence I request not to implement NEET-UG exam from current academic year 2012.
We all are here to serve Youth of India a healthy and competitive ground in their most crucial academic year of childhood & it’s our responsibility to give the same to them for their as well as ours better future.
Hope you and your good selves with chair as well as your colleagues, be find happy with not implementing NEET-UG Exam from 2012.
Awaits for your generous support for the same.
Thanking You,
Bhavesh shah
